Why Write?
Over the last few years, I’ve had a multitude of thoughts which have led to reflection, which have led to conclusions (at least until I’ve gathered new information, or forgotten the conclusion). I’ve been meaning to document some of these thoughts on a simple personal blog for a while but found the friction of collecting, writing, and publishing my thoughts to be prohibitive until now.
Inspired by a few folks, namely Maalvika (a friend that inspires me to introspect and be vocal), Dan Luu (impressive depth and clarity of thought), and Richard Meadows (Deep Dish was the first blog/newsletter I read), I’m going to begin writing on this website. I’ve made the theme extremely simple as a sort of symbolism representing the reduced friction for writing. I don’t know how often, how consistent, or how well-developed my thoughts will be, but my aim will be to document my models, complexities, and maturity of thinking. Some of my articles will be better thought out than others. Many of them will be restating my perspective on something that has been discussed ad nauseam online. At best, some of my thoughts and resources that I compile can be helpful to someone reading this blog. At the least, this should be interesting and fun to read and reflect on in the future.
